Working on my own mask at the moment (literally just applied resin and hardener to the paper craft base, going to reinforce with fiberglass cloth and resin later) and thinking ahead for the hood and I'm curious how you did yours. I see you mentioned you used wire in it, I was hoping I might be able to get some details. Like did you make it from scratch? Did you find a hood that was close enough to tweak?

it´s harde to explane in english^^
I cut out fabric (is that the right word?) in this shape twice [link] an sewed it together. in th front I sewed a wire in.
for the curles I made a template [link] and sprayed it on with leather look paint
